Artist Statement
Everything is art. My goal in life is to encourage everyone to value the art that quietly surrounds us everyday. It’s inescapable once you become aware of it. One day I was driving home in rush hour traffic and I suddenly became aware of the sky. It was just a normal blue sky, same one I saw everyday, but on that day I noticed it. In that moment I felt like maybe I was focused on the wrong things. My work serves as a visual catalog of these moments of appreciation for the world around us, hoping to pass that vision on to others.
