Artist Statement
Finding beauty in the everyday, the mundane, the ugly. My work centers around the quiet beauty that often gets overlooked. Whether I am painting portraits, photographing liminal spaces, or sketching out my thoughts, each act of creation is an offering of gratitude for this world, this life, and all of the experiences that shape it.
My work serves as a gentle rebellion against a society that is increasingly disconnected. I invite viewers into my way of seeing; we are constantly surrounded by meaning and beauty, even when it feels harsh. It is easy to lose sight of this when society values speed, precision, and individualism. My work is here to counter that perspective and invite the viewer to slow down and start experiencing life, not just living in it.
This is not just about aesthetics; it’s about connection. It is urging you to pay attention.
